Welcome to our home. We are a small working kennel. We personally research closely every dog and pedigree before he or she is selected to be a Mountain City K9 dog or bitch dog. Our K9's come from champion performance and/or working bloodlines. Be sure to explore our K9's pedigrees for further information on bloodlines. We work with many working breeds, APBT's, Malinois, Dobermanns, Shepherds - German and Dutch, etc. We test our dogs and bitches in many different situations to determine soundness, temperment, ability, talent, willingness to work, and other desirable traits. They are trained for specific needs and/or sports. The Mountain City K9 breeding program is based upon this selective attitude and the breedings are matched accordingly. Be sure to look at the For Sale and Puppy pages for Planned and UpComing Breedings as well as puppies, young adults, or trained dogs that may be available. Mountain City K9's participate and/or compete on a competitive level in the sport of Weight Pull Competitions, Obedience, Protection, Agility Activities, Comfirmation Show, and other - basically whatever the dogs enjoy and will do. We spend time with them individually and in group settings to develop the skills they need in order to be a functional and accepted part of our society.
